Something Better To Do

Hello everyone! This semester has been the most complicated of all, but there are always subjects that make everything more entertaining. This semester was the subject of Psychology of Development II, the classes were taught by three teachers, Claudia Capella, specialist in the childhood stage, Loreto Leiva, in the adolescence stage and Daniela Thumala, in the adulthood and old age stage, and each one made three classes of each stage, these were made in an expositive way and showing some videos from time to time, besides having to do a job where we had to do interviews a child, a teenager and an adult in relation to a subject, to later see the relation of their answers with what some authors propose. The contents were related to how the human being is developing different aspects of his life, such as social, emotional, moral, cognitive, etc., We saw theories of different authors who tried to explain how people change with the step of age and how it influences both the time a

Michel Foucault is a psychologist, historian of ideas, social theorist and French philosopher. Foucault began his higher studies at the Ecole Normale Superieure, which was a prestigious school of humanities, then because of problems in his life he had to start psychiatry therapy and it is at this moment that he marveled at the psychology and decided to study it. Foucault have made a great criticism of confinement institutions, such insane asylums, prisons and hospitals, analyzing the way in which they operate. He also studied and criticized the existing vision of normality and abnormality, which is installed by the organizations of power to control and organize the population, cataloging certain people as "abnormal" when they don´t contribute to society.  When I studied it for the first time, it was a lot since I had never read this kind of reflections, and it helped me to create a more critical vision of the system. A classmate took this photo in the aniversary of my high school, it was my last year in the high school and my grade was the in charge of the organitation of the aniversary. This photo show me with my friends disguised for a "Pasacalle" we do in the streets near the high school, is such as a carnaval, with music, ballons and colors, and even people walking on stilts. This photo it was taken in may, 2015, in the classroom of my high school in Coquimbo. This picture is important to me because I remember a good moment in my secundary education, where with my course we cooperate together planning all the things and disguises for to create a good show, and it was very entertaining pass this moment with my bests friends María and Francisca. PD: Yes, I disguised myself as a magician, and obviously the magic wand worked hahaha.

Hello Everybody! Since I was a little girl I love animals. My favorite kinds of pets are the normal pets, cats and dogs. In my life I had one cats and three dogs, regrettably all have died by accident, but in the actuality I have a cat, since 2010, when with my family moved to Coquimbo, in the house there was many cats on the roofs, but they were not friendly, just one female cat let herself caress. We fed and cared for her, and then she became our pet. Her name is Mara, and I like so much because is beautiful, affectionate and intelligent, but sometimes I don't like when wake everyone with their meows for food, she is very hungry hahaha.  I think the pets are very important to the families and society, because in the children, the pets help how must treat to the animals, respecting and caring them, this makes children better human beings in society. When these things are taught at an early age, future problems are avoided, such as irresponsible possession, trafficking

My favorite piece of technology is my laptop. I have had 2 laptop in my life, the first one was given to my by the Ministry of Education and  4 years after it was broken, and the second my parents gave to me before to enter the university. I use my laptop for everything, to study, make works, listen music, watch videos and movies, use social medias, etc. I use it every day, or the grand part of the week. I think to my laptop is very useful, because I can use it to do many things, academic and recreational,  is very lightweight, for this I can carry it a any places in my bag. If I had not my laptop, everything would be more complicated, and would have to go a other place with computers, a bibliary or cyber, to do my academic stuff, and that would be very horrible, I hope my laptop last a lot of time.

Hello Everybody! It is difficult to decide what proffesion you want to for all life. When I was a little girl, 6-7 years more or less, I dreamed to be a vet, because I loved very much the animals. Them when I started the high school, I started to interest me in medical career, but I dont like the science matter, only the biology, for this when I applyied to university I put as firts option psychology, because wanted to know the functioning of the mind, and why the people go behave in a certain way. I after that I put sociology, and bachillerato in different universities. Finally I decided to study Psychology in University of Chile, until now I haved an amazing experience, the ambient is great, I have a good classmates and the teachers are very understanding and experts in their subjects. When I finish my career I have different places to work, I could work in school, clinical, business, foundation, etc. But I like the clinical area, and work with adults or adolescent, becaus
